Stefan Tanase

With a strong web development experience and a solid passion for online security, Stefan joined Kaspersky Lab in 2007.

By combining his online experience with the information security field, he actively participates in the research and development of several projects, ranging from email honeypots to web crawlers, all designed to find, analyze and neutralize new threats.

Stefan is a member of the Global Research and Analysis Team, based in Romania. He specialises in web security research and analysing malware 2.0. He also publishes analysis of hot online security topics on viruslist.com, the information portal of Kaspersky Lab about hackers, viruses and spam.
